Vallejo Model Air Airbrush Ink

Model Air paint is a range of acrylic, water-based acrylic colors specially developed for airbrushing. In the formulation of this range, several new resins were selected for a level of quality not previously achieved in water-based colors. Model Air's strength, toughness and coverage power are superior to any acrylic airbrush color currently available and also allows application through a brush to highlight the smallest details of the model. The pigments were selected according to their degree of light fastness and ideal micronization. The effects of washings and transparencies can be obtained by diluting the colors; All colors and varnishes can be mixed and diluted with the Airbrush Diluent. The colors were carefully chosen to provide the modeler with the most commonly used references. The tests were carried out for more than two years to develop the shades that correspond to the RLM, RAL and FS, BS and ANA colors that are commonly used. The colors can be mixed with each other, diluted with water, Diluente Model Air, or Varnish or even alcohol, according to the desired effect, but we recommend using the Model Air Diluent because this product preserves the color properties. Model Air adheres exceptionally well to all surfaces. Model Air's adhesion to resin, plastic, steel and white metal models is extraordinary. Usually a primary is not required; If the object to be painted is very dark, a white or gray base coat will help bring out the brightness of the colors. Shake well before use. Pour the ink directly into the airbrush, not diluted or diluted previously with the diluent (71.261). The colors can be mixed in the airbrush cup. Model Air dries almost instantly on the model which allows for almost immediate application.
