Liquitex Satin Medium Gel

Liquitex Satin Medium Gel gives acrylic paint a satin finish, while increasing the paint volume, viscosity and texture, without affecting its stability. This medium can serve as a strong adhesive, for mixed media techniques, namely fixing different supports. Ideal for creating a world of textures, for example through brushstrokes, this medium delays drying time and, depending on the amount used, can turn the color more transparent. It can be mixed with up to 25% of distilled water. Its finish while wet is semi-opaque, but when dry it becomes transparent, although when used in large quantities it can become semi-opaque after drying.
