Liquitex Clear Acrylic Gesso (Plaster)

This transparent acrylic gesso (plaster) allows an ideal degree of roughness for oil pastels, graphite and charcoal, as well as an excellent base for acrylic paints and oils. Creates a hardening layer on the canvas, making it ideal for applying paint. It delivers a clear matte finish that allows the original surface to be exposed and provides a professional archival base to help maintain the longevity of your work. Establish a good surface for charcoal or graphite pencils. It does not yellow over time, being flexible and not cracking. The application of one layer is usually sufficient for the desired effect. It is fully blendable with all Liquitex products. Available in: 118ml, 237ml, 473ml and 946ml.
