Marabu Pouring Medium

The Marabu Pouring Medium improves the fluidity and flow of acrylic paints without compromising pigment strength. Use neat, as a base, or mixed with acrylic paints. After drying, the paint becomes water resistant and its finish is usually glossy, but it can vary depending on the paints and surfaces used. Before using this medium, it is important to isolate everything around it and shake it. Prepare materials and the mixes so that the process is more controlled. The less dense the paint, the better the result. Tips: use durable and stable backgrounds and place pins on the support back used so that the paint runs better. Starting the painting with a layer of pouring, before put the colors onto the canvas, allows the paint to flow better. This technique is able to receive drops of silicone oil to open cells, with the help of a blowtorch with a distance of about 15 to 20 cm from the painting (the test is recommended). Cleaning of tools is done with water, immediately after use.
