Chavant LeBeau Touché Sculping Clay
20,32 €uni.
Le Beau Touché is a sulfur-free clay that stands out for its exceptionally smooth texture, adhesive qualities and soft, fluid density. Perfect for working down to the smallest detail, Le Beau Touché adheres to practically any material. This modeling paste sculpts and shapes very easily and due to its high flexibility it does not dry out or crack. It is generally worked at a maximum of 90°, as the smallest amount of heat, just the friction of your hands, will make it soften. Be careful when heating this clay too much, as it is very sensitive to temperature variations, if heated to more than 90 degrees, it becomes very soft, sticky and starts to sweat. When it cools to room temperature, it returns to its initial firmness and does not oxidize, and can be left in the open air, heated and cooled repeatedly without any significant change in the product. It is used to create sculptures, but can also be used to fill cracks in industrial work or in dams. Using small amounts of water, citrus-based solvents, latex paint removers, turpentine or white spirit as lubricants on the clay surface will achieve a smooth surface. Precautions: Wash your hands with soap after use.
