Chavant Professional Plasteline is a clay with a silky touch, which at room temperature is flexible and reusable, as it never dries out. Developed with only a degree of firmness, its basic formula has undergone many changes over the past 100 years. Its sulfur base offers a silky sensation appreciated by many artists. Despite its elasticity, this clay is susceptible to cracking when reinforcement moves under the weight of the clay. Plasteline Professional is most often used by artists to create sculptures, but it can also be used to fill cracks in industrial work or even in dams. If you need greater plasticity, heat the plasticine to achieve greater softness, it can withstand temperatures of up to 110°, 120°. Achieve a smooth surface by passing small amounts of water over the surface of the piece. Attention: Plasteline Professional contains sulfur, which can cause a burning sensation in the eyes. Although it is not dangerous, it can cause an uncomfortable feeling. Overheating will cause the sulfur to crystallize, being easily identified by small grains of sand in the clay after it dries. Wash your hands with soap after use.
