High fire white body with 40% fine grog 0-0.2 mm. Formulated for artistic ceramics, it is ideal for sculpture, murals and Raku pieces. The high content of grog confers a beautiful textured surface and an excellent behaviour during drying and firing. Itsparticular ivory colour after firing is much appreciated and provides an excellent ware for glazes and colouring oxides, which develop bright and intense tones. It is also known as “Rafael” clay, and it is very popular because of its excellent behaviour for Raku. Available in extruded body (moist form).
