Sio2 PLV Modeling Paste is a green clay. Its green color in an oxidizing atmosphere stands out in the range of low-consumption colors. Its thin thickness and plasticity make this modeling paste an excellent choice for working on a lathe and for modeling. Its behavior is excellent for standard ceramic glazes. Available in moistened form. Firing range: 1050-1080ºC / Cone 05-03; Water content (throwing): 19%; Plasticity (IP Atterberg): 15; Carbonate content (CaCO3): 16%; Drying shrinkage: 5.3%; Firing shrinkage (1050ºC): -0.1%; Porosity (water absorption at 1050ºC): 11.2%; Dry bending strength: 4.2 N/mm2; Fired bending strength (1050ºC): 28.7 N/mm2; Thermal coefficient (25-500ºC): 77.2x10^-7ºC^-1.
