Marabu Crackle Medium

Achieve unexpected textures and finishes with the Marabu Crackle Medium. Suitable for use with different techniques, this medium creates a very interesting crackle effect. Using this medium is very simple and practical: first apply a paint layer and let it dry (with a hair dryer for example), then apply the medium evenly and let it dry (with a hair dryer for example), finally quickly apply another paint layer and see the cracks appear almost immediately, let it dry for about 1 hour. Larger the layer, more distinctive the crackles will be. The ink breaks direction has to do with the upper layer brush strokes direction.
