Marabu Green Alkyd Ink

Marabu GREEN Paint is a water-based alkyd paint formulated with at least 92% raw materials of natural origin. The GREEN tube and packaging concept has set new standards by making them climate neutral. Their vegan ink is sustainably produced in Germany, offering a great addition to artists and creatives who paint on a variety of materials such as: paper, cardboard, canvas, wood, MDF, stone and more. Alkyd paints usually require solvents, so they are far from being ecological, but GREEN is composed of alkyd resins based on vegetable oils, water and a small percentage of synthetic alcohol. With a matte finish, good opacity and creamy consistency, this paint can be diluted with a maximum of 5% water. In addition to a wide palette of colors with infinite combinations, the colors are resistant to light, weather and water after drying. The inks mix easily with each other, making it possible to create unique colors. As the packaging also counts, Marabu focused on the economical material use in the tubes production, producing its thinner walls, which allows the tube to be squeezed until the end, with no ink waste. With this care, Marabu reduced in 30% the material used, not to mention that the tube body is made from 50% renewable raw materials, being completely recyclable. Shake the ink before use. Do not mix with acrylic paint. Tools and surfaces are cleaned with soap and water right after use. Available in 100ml tubes.
