The 1557 is an acid-free paper with a soft grain, adapted mainly for studies and sketches. It is 100% cellulose, without any wood fiber, gelatinous in mass, it bears repeated corrections without wrinkling and stands out for its pure white. Ideal for graphite, ink, charcoal and pastel pencils. Information: Bulk collage is a Canson invention. In 1827 Barthélémy de Canson developed a mass-bonding process, for which a patent was issued. The paper resulting from this process is waterproof, odorless and easier to preserve.
