Marabu Textil Block Printing Set

With the Marabu Textile Print Set, you have everything you need to produce a engraving print on fabric. Comprises 1 Textil Print charcoal black ink of 100ml, 2 Textil Aquarelle inks of 15ml: 1 lemon and 1 magenta, 1 foam roller with 60mm, 1 Marabu universal round brush nº12, 1 cutter with 2 blades: 1 nº 2 and 1 nº5, 1 x Factis 155 x 90 x 7mm soft rubber printing plate and an instruction manual. With this set, it becomes easy to create an engraving print: carve the desired image, with the cutters, on the linoleum in a mirrored way, as the print will be inverted; Apply a thin paint layer with the roller, without excess paint, so that it covers all the work reliefs; Position the printing linoleum on the fabric and press it lightly, carefully remove the plate from the fabric and when the printing is complete, quickly clean the tools with water and let it dry. Textile watercolor paints are transparent and diluted in water, and are applied to the fabric with a damp brush, creating fun stains. After drying, it can be fixed in the oven for 8 minutes at 150°C or by ironing without steam for 3 minutes. With this care, the painted fabric is washable up to 40°C, always inside out. It is important that you wash the fabrics before painting, for a better paint reception. In the case of a double layer fabric, eg.: bags, pillowcases, etc, you must place a card in the middle so the ink does not pass to the other fabric layer. Results are most effective on 100% cotton fabrics.
