Manetti Liquid Bitumen

Manetti Liquid Bitumen is a delicate additive that is made by mixing bitumen powder with solvents. With the perfect density for applying to your work, this bitumen comes ready to use. It is suitable for patinating and aging your work, particularly on gold leaf and derivatives. It can be applied with a sponge, a soft cloth or even a brush. Allow the product to absorb into the surface and remove the excess with a soft, clean cloth. You can give it a more aged and dark appearance by leaving it to act for a little longer and gently removing the product, or you can apply the bitumen and remove it immediately, leaving a light layer of the product. The bitumen can be diluted, if necessary, with turpentine.
