Raphael Textura D-Brush

The Raphaël D-Brush Texture Brush was specially designed for impasto techniques, with medium or thick acrylic paint. Its fur is made of short, resistant synthetic fibers. With the D-Brush format, Raphaël innovated the brushes world with the functionality of two brushes, in one, combining the round shape with the flat one, thanks to its ferrule that is produced in a “D” shape. The flat side has a stiffer feel, ideal for spreading paint, allows for more energetic brush strokes, and is great for creating sketches in the premilinary paint layers. The rounded side is softer and more flexible for smooth and light strokes, great for blending and smoothing colors while painting, thanks to its ink holding power.
