Sennelier Oil Pastels Cardboard Boxes
From12,14 €uni.
The Sennelier oil pastel is a product that makes use of the components used in all Sennelier colors - superior pigment quality, an extremely pure synthetic binder and mineral wax. The pigments are milled with an inert material, a non-drying binder, which does not oxidize and has no effect on the stability of the film or the surface. This base is then mixed with wax (neutral pH). The balance of this blend provides a unique ointment and a creamy texture that allows great freedom of pictorial expression. These pastels have an exceptional concentration of pigments that impart a great power of coloration, have a great vivacity of colors and a good resistance to light (except metalized and flourishing colors). They are available in a variety of specialized sets. The cartons are sturdy and upholstered with foam to protect each cake individually. To protect an oil pastel surface from dirt and dust, apply a fixative 8 to 10 days after completion of work. The fixative will not dry out the job. If desired, a final lacquer spray may be applied to seal the surface permanently but this may adversely affect the chances of a future restoration.
