Artidee Cooking Silicone

Culinary Silicone is a blend of low viscosity, pourable rubber silicone and vulcanization at room temperature, which is particularly suitable for the production of silicone cooking molds because of their extensibility, elasticity and natural non-stick properties. The molds of this silicone are characterized by a long durability. Due to its legal approval for use in food, it is suitable for modeling hot and liquid chocolate, pralines and sugared compositions, as well as biscuits and pastry doughs. Mixing ratio: 100 parts by weight of this silicone to 10 parts hardener. The final blend is applied by pouring or brushing the silicone into the model and hardens at room temperature within 4 to 6 hours to form a solid yet stable mold, albeit flexible, characterized by high tear strength. The producers of praline and chocolate constantly praise the tolerance to a maximum temperature of 230ºC of the molds made with this silicone. Which can therefore be used with any mixture of sugar, chocolates or cakes. In addition to two-dimensional models (relief type) for chocolates, pralines, confections, biscuits and pastry goods, it is also possible to model three-dimensional sculpted figures or models in two-part molds. Regulatory food safety approval: This silicone meets the requirements of the migration tests of European Directive 1935/204 / EC and therefore can be used in contact with food. This silicone comes with the appropriate hardener, mixing bowl and instructions for use.
