Silicone Mold Separating Cream
When producing a multi-part silicone mold, it has to be ensured that when the liquid silicone is laid in one of the already finished parts of the mold that the two parts do not adhere. For this reason, the surface with the finished part of the mold requires the application of a thin layer of the Mold Separating Cream to prevent it from sticking to the new part produced. This Mold Separating Cream can also be used to protect plaster components, so these should also be covered with the cream. If the plaster surface is slightly textured, the cream should be applied in a particularly thin layer. The thin layer serves as a protective barrier (to make the cream more liquid, remove the lid from the bottle and put it in a water bath for a few minutes). This cream is made of high quality Vaseline so it can be easily removed from the plaster and silicone with soap and water or with the silicone remover.
