From bucolic country scenes to urban landscapes, in this module you'll learn how to capture nature at its best.

 

Painting a landscape involves choosing a frame, composition and color. A landscape actually has three dimensions, but our medium only has two, so it's necessary to give the illusion of depth through perspective and the combination of planes at different levels.

Natural light gives the work dynamism, compositional richness and a unique chromaticism. Whether it's sunrise or sunset, recreating a fleeting moment is the mission of many artists who are passionate about this type of subject.

In this course, you'll recreate a landscape of your choice from the graphite sketch to the application of colors using gouache.

This module is aimed at all designers, regardless of age or skill level, and you can take part even if you haven't attended the previous modules.
