Mindfulness Art - Experimenting with artistic expression techniques and materials

As an exploratory proposal, this workshop aligns with the idea of mindfulness art, through the exploration of concepts such as experimental art, spontaneous art, or intuitive art. The basis of this expression is the search for well-being and pleasure through the experience of very simple artistic techniques, in a relaxed environment of complete trust and shared experience, which aims to develop self-esteem and the personal search for new areas of knowledge and self-discovery.

The aim is to reach out to non-artists, whose relationship with artistic expression has long been put aside, and reconnect them with the creativity and imagination they thought they had lost, always through fun, uncomplicated, and intuitive dynamics.

What we will do:

Get to know the contemporary art scene in a brief introduction.
Explore materials used in artistic expression, such as paper, cardboard, and other supports, traditional tools such as brushes, paintbrushes, and acrylic paints, combined with other less conventional materials not normally associated with artistic practice.
Explore techniques associated with pure and spontaneous abstract art (without any meaning or formal object) that are based on artists such as Jackson Pollock with his dripping (a technique that consists of randomly splashing paint onto a surface to create spontaneous, unexpected, and purely abstract shapes) or Mark Rothko, with his chromatic, expressionist, and contrasting spots.
Perform guided exercises that enable a discovery that can lead to personal exploration and reconnection with creativity and imagination.

In fact, it is not necessary to have any artistic skills, but rather to be open to the experience!

All materials are included.

All participants receive a 20% discount on the materials presented on the day of the workshop (not combinable with other discounts in effect).
